38mm of lens height across a 59mm eye gives Lanakila its line: long, shallow, and rimless, so there is no frame outline to catch the eye. With no rim to carry the detailing, it moves onto the hardware instead — the Signature Slash turns up at the hinge, on the temple tips and again on the rubber nose pads, with the Signature Wavy Pattern over the rubber tips.
Lenses are MauiPure on a 6 base, polarized with PolarizedPlus2. Two colorways, Matte Black with Grey and Shiny Light Ruthenium, on a frame Maui Jim rates for a large face.
Rimless lenses are drilled and mounted to the frame, so they are shaped for that frame specifically. It is the strongest argument for ordering the prescription with the frame rather than after it, which the Rx section on this page does in one step.
