An 8 base curve is a lot of wrap, and on a semi-rimless frame it means the lens is doing most of the structural work. Ho'okipa is built that way on purpose: a nylon upper carrying the lens, nothing underneath it, and grooved rubber on both the adjustable nose pads and the temple tips so it holds position through whatever you are doing.
Lenses here are MauiPure, Maui Jim's lightweight lens material, with PolarizedPlus2 polarization; prescription lenses can be built on this page in any of Maui Jim's Rx materials and tints. The frame runs 54mm across the eye on a 14mm bridge, sized for a medium face.
